So ,Chuck Norris just passed away. I live in Richardson, Texas, and he has family and connections all over town. The little donut shop down the street has autographed pictures of him on the wall—he stopped there often. The nursing home nearby is where his mom lived for a while. A girlfriend from that time worked there and didn’t have much to say except that he was super friendly and had some really badass cowboy boots. Turns out he really loved those “Chuk Norris” meme jokes… like, a lot! Probably one of the best things I ever heard about him was from an old-as-dirt karate teacher who said: “Chuck Norris could walk into a room of strangers and by the end of the night, he would know more about everyone in the room than anyone would ever know about him. Kinda like Muhammad Ali. A man of the people. “Let’s all watch a Chuck Norris movie today! You can’t go wrong with Invasion U.S.A., The Delta Force, The Octagon, and of course Lone Wolf McQuade! “It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.” —General George S. Patton
Chuck Norris……you are missed.
